We are an Eastern Connecticut based DIY record label specializing in
recognizably hacky and outsider music through digital and small-batch physical releases. We really wanted an Angelfire or Geocities website but couldn't make it happen. Most of our stuff is on Bandcamp. It's funny because bandcamp makes you upload songs in a high-res WAV format. So we take our old low-res, barely mixed, hardly mastered GarageBand MP3s and convert them to WAV. It's like putting $2000 rims on your 1991 Ford Fiesta. Enjoy our stolen gifs. NEWS:4/15/25 - Earthtone Recluse is cranking them out. The debut full-length (44 minutes, yikes!) is called "Otherwise - I".
4/9/25 - Crawl Below will be releasing a new EP "Democracy Is So Last Season". It will place it's member on a round-up list.
https://crawlbelow.bandcamp.com/album/democracy-is-so-last-season 4/2/25 - LMJP's next release will be a 3-way split between noise/drone artists Flash Bastard, Tobin's Spirit Guide, and Earthtone Recluse, aka the members of Irish-Americana folkpunk act None Of Us Saints, who haven't even put out anything in their own name yet. So.
Also, the LMJP head office just received our March Spotify stats and Crawl Below scored big with 36 unique listeners, while Low Moments had a paltry, if not predictable, one listener. 3/20/25 new video for Earthtone Recluse.
8/22/24 I haven't updated this in a year and a half so...
The first non-Charlie LMJP release is by Ghordo AKA Room 47. It saw a (comparative) lot of attention on youtube in its first week. Low Moments put out a few albums and a bunch of music videos that have scored double digit viewership.
Low Moments's Escape Artist/Ship Has Sailed was given a doomerwave treatment and it received an unfathomable amount of attention in it's first week (4x more than the original recording). There were even positive comments from presumed strangers(?!?!?!).
3/5/23: Low Moments released a video last week to promote their new album "Aging Disgracefully". Here it be.
3/3/23: Low Moments will debut their new album "Aging Disgracefully" on 3/23/23, following up last year's EP "...Has Probably Walked Through A Screen Door More Than Once." There will be a record release show at Strange Brew in Norwich, Connecticut with James Burke and Forever Fool. Predictably, LM will go on first. 1/15/22: Crawl Below have released their latest full-length "Around The Circle, Around The Snake". A mix of lo-fi black metal, darkwave, and weird church elements like organs and chants.
It took more than a month to sell out of the 10 physical copies, so. Here's a track: 2/4/22: Connecticut's Low Moments are finishing 15 songs to be released this spring on LMJP. FFO: Depeche Mode, The Cure, the 80s. "Sounds like if Cold Cave grew up directly under power lines." 1/19/22: Crawl Below's "Its Ministers On Earth" limited edition CD and digital have been released. Available on bandcamp. |
